It just dont seem a great way to celebrate new year, constant 150bpm for hours on end....id rather have some variety, something uplifting!?!?

Maybe im just getting old lol

To be honest, if i thought i could get a decent line up i would jump at the chance but all the big named jocks that play trance get three times what we could even afford somewhere else exotic around the globe.... this is how the conversation would go....

Jason, Whats wrong with Guy Ornadel (He has always ripped passion apart, remember when he played in Hinkley, let alone his six hour set in the red room), Lange, Thrillseekers (these two do not get any better trance wise), Simon Patterson, Marco V, Alex Morph, (three passion favourites?), Yaz (come on you know it makes sense). Do you need the hugest names if Storm is carrying the night anyway? There is this undergroung feeling to trance, it is out of favour now, but not dead. Like hardcore was a few years ago and look at it now. It all goes in cycles and would it not be great for Passion to be back at the front when it explodes again, like before?

Im not a great fan of his plays a lot of py -trance which is ok
but not my cup of tea . As for paSSion Nye again that would
be amazing but that wont happen for a while so thats why
we have to enjoy paSSion nights to the max when they happen .

Well said both of you!

Guy Ornadel is a true, long-established Passion favourite and hopefully will always continue to be.

He is my personal favourite (not including Mr Kinch, of course!), because I have never seen a bad set (in fact, I watched him play after Tiesto once and I thought he outshone him), his musical style is infectious and his manner behind the decks is spot on.

The key point here has already been made - namely, he enjoys being at Passion as much as the crowd do and he makes it plain for all to see.

I guess at this point it's worth saying to anyone who's never seen him at Passion to make sure you do when you next get the chance. He hasn't been nicknamed 'Sir Guy' by the DFOP for nothing!
