PASSION... WILL IT EVER SURVIVE - DISCUSS
I have a lot of respect for JFK, Garbo and Genix, I had a lot of respect for Mark and Eric but I do not honestly beleive that under the current regime (owners) and due to the credit crunch Passion will always now be known as a has been.

Once a month
Sub Standard Line Ups
to be frank the list is endless

the promotion powers and techniques employed by JFK are second to none and are respected through clubland, that said is he essentially flogging a dead horse.

Mark and Eric made a wise move by selling and left richer men, the pikeys that took over, to be frank saw a cash cow and got a white elephant.

If this was a PLC I would be shouting to sack the board as it is not i only have one suggestion... CLOSE THE CLUB, DUMP THE BRAND AND GO OUT ON A REASONABLE LOW !!

Storm on the other hand... new venue... would be amazing!

Discuss..

Look pal clean your dummy and put it back in your gob just beacause your not going to get to worship a headline Dj doesnt mean it will be a shit night iv heard some of these guys play and trust me they can show a big name how a set should be done you need to remember that they will be playing with all of there heart to impress so expect sets that will blow you away.

Worship a headline dj? What are you going on about. I'm not even going to bother attending, big names are big because of their ability. I've no doubt that DJ's can't perform, but for a brand as big as Passion to call these people the names of the future is somewhat laughable & an insult to those who are passionate (pun not intended) about their trance music.

i agree with what you are saying mate... and if you didnt notice... its not a passion night.... its a nu passion night...

we have been running nu:passion in our room 2 over the last year... and this is a opertunity for some great djs to play in our main room... we are not expecting to sell it out.. but want to give people the chance to play and build a profile...

the DJs you mentioned for a nu talent night are top names.. but they are bigger than the line up we already have on... they are already establidshed. and they probably have already been given oppertunitys to play like we are doing...

it swings in roundabouts really... we have put similar nights on like this before and the djs have progressed in the scene... i myself played at one of these many years ago... now im playing gigs over the globe and across the uk. the same with garbo... if im right in thinking other nu talent that have been generated from the emporium are jon o'bir, mync project and youseff.

like i said your points are very valid.... but somtimes you need to give people a chance...

and regarding the door fee.... it cost alot of money to put on events and open a club as big as the emporium. so that contributes towards that..

: )
