It will be a great pleasure for anyone to witness this event… ten years on and still going strong… a chance for the clubbers to pay personal tribute to a promoter, DJ, and genuinely nice guy that has delivered consistently peoples most treasured clubbing experiences over years and years of huge events and partys. A guy respected by event the biggest of DJ’s and industry people
First Of all hello! And welcome to another interview ahead of another anticipated Passion event!
Hi mate, seems strange to be on the other side of questions ha ha but hey lets have some fun....
Another year has passed by and another of your famous JFK birthday bashes looms ten whole years since the first one!!… are you looking forward to this as much as your first party?
Wow yea, I didn’t realise it was ten years of my birthday bashes until just recently, I was going through old video's to put them onto my youtube account, in the clip I am being interviewed about the first one and it was way back in 1998! It only started out as a filler night, a cheap option for a good night out and a bit of a laff but its become things of folklore really... to view the clip

Why have you decided to call this one ‘JFK’s Big Fat Birthday Bash?
Well its Big... ten years.... I am fat... and its my birthday bash... makes sense really eh
What makes your birthday bash partys different from normal passion events??
I feel that it’s the sense that people know what they are getting, I have never dazzled anyone with superb technical skills and I have never pretended that I have had them, but what I can do is make people dance with emotion, create a superb atmosphere and have some jolly good fun whilst doing so, people just seem to dress up silly and let their hair down...
they have no one to impress so they just go crazy.
Do ‘Pukka Pies’ Sponser this big fat birthday bash event?
THEY SHOULD DO... LOL... for some reason someone always gives me something with PUKKA PIES written on it and it gets held up for all to see... anyone would think that I liked them or something ha ha.
What do you have in store for the dedicated followers of Passion for this coming Saturday? Dance Classics? Modern anthems maybe?
Well I hope it incorporate some of the latest massive tunes that arte around at present whilst blending in some old favourites, they will all get you off of your seats.
What can the clubbers expect from these partys who haven’t been before… are they like a normal passion or is there a different vibe to them as there will be people in fancy dress etc!!!
Well all I can say is make sure you get their early, there is no let up from the moment we open the doors, I have been told by people previously that they have not been able to leave the dance floor to go for a piss in case they miss a tune, and just when they think about leaving... bang along comes another bellter... you have been warned... piss in a bottle.
Can you name 1 track….. that has gone down in passion history for you… maybe become the anthem of passion that you have played over the years?
We they have changed quite a lot over the years, first it was Alison Limerick where love lives, then it was Amen and P.A.S.S.I.O.N, then Wizards of the sonic by westbam, not it seems to be anything by Tiesto!
And last of all….. do you have a message to all the people who have supported you over the years and have made Passion become a legendary place to go clubbing?
Well I know it sounds clichéd but without the Passion support I would not have made my career as successful as it has been, I have been very fortunate to have such a loyal following and will never forget my short time in the Passion spot light where they made me feel like the best DJ in the whole world... how very mistaken they were ha ha... I will never tire of the stories that
everyone has to tell me of their first Passion experience and how they come fall in love with a very special club in a town named Coalville, in the middle of nowhere... it the stuff that dreams are made of.. and boy have we lived that dream...
Passion I salute you.
Thanks JFK!!! See You All there.... Genix
